Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Rise: Daily Reflections with God ("Rise") collects, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
What we collect
- Account: your Sign in with Apple identifier, and your name and email if you choose to share them.
- What you write or say: your reflections, the passages and prayers returned to you, your Rise Guide conversations, journal notes, favorites and practices.
- Voice: when you tap Speak, your speech is turned into text on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech recognition. We do not record or store audio.
- Community posts: prayer requests and notes you post in Rise Together, and the prayers you tap.
- Usage: reading progress in the Bible reader, streaks and your reminder time.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active Rise Plus subscription. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details.
- Notifications: a device token so we can send the reminders you ask for.
How we use it
To give you your reflection, save your Journey, run Rise Together, send the reminders you asked for, keep your subscription active and keep the app safe.
Who processes it
- Supabase stores your account and data.
- Anthropic (Claude) receives the text of your reflection and Rise Guide messages to write your reflection, prayer and replies. Anthropic does not train its models on this data.
- OpenAI receives Rise Guide replies to turn them into spoken audio when you use voice.
- RevenueCat and Apple manage subscriptions.
- Apple Push Notification service delivers reminders.
What other users see
Only what you post in Rise Together. Your reflections, journal and Rise Guide chats are never shown to other users.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account in Journey > Settings > Account, which permanently deletes your data from our servers. You can also email us to request a copy or deletion.
Children
Rise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post updates here and tell you in the app about significant changes.
